International film production
uEnvision Studio is a video production company, which was established in 2018 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Its founder and CEO is Tomáš Uhliarik.
UNIVERSITY IN THE U.S.
Tomáš started his film career in the United States of America, where he studied experimental cinema at the State University of New York at Binghamton. In 2012, he started working as a location scout for Orange County NY Film Office, where he helped to build up a database of visually attractive places, which opened him the door to feature length motion pictures.
Tomáš’s further professional steps included the jobs of a production assistant and actor staring side by side with celebrities like Marc Strong, the Golden Globe winner Christian Slater or the Oscar nominee James Franco. As a grip on the full-length movie Mi America and I Dream Too Much and a key grip in the music video Chaptaz: Music Is My Drug he gained valuable skills at setting-up lightning equipment.
BEGINNINGS IN SLOVAKIA
In 2014 Tomáš returned to Slovakia, where he continued his career in the TV industry. He worked as a recording technician on the popular programs like V siedmom nebi, Nikto nie je dokonalý, Tvoja tvár znie povedome, and Dobre vedieť! Tomáš participated as a technician and grip on popular series such as Vlci, Som mama, Ministri, and Nový život. His most challenging projects include international events: the UEFA Congress (2018) and the SME Assembly (2016) when he was responsible for the cutting of live broadcast. Another exciting job opportunity came from Bollywood, when Tomáš worked as a spidercam technician in the film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy (2019).
THEATER EXPERIENCE
Tomáš also looks back at rich experience gained at the theater Meteorit, where he massively extended his knowledge and found an incredibly rich source of inspiration. During his 4-year run he performed in dozens of theater plays: from comedies and tragedies to horrors. Later Tomáš used his contacts to actors and started casting them in his own productions under his own brand uEnvision Studio. This successful combination of film and theater know-how is best reflected by the short comedy Bus STOP, which made it to the New York World Film Festival.
FOUNDATION OF uEnvision Studio
Currently Tomáš works as a director and producer at uEnvision Studio and intensively develops his film production also through his membership in BNI – Business Network International – where he co-operates with filmmakers on international level.
